Sculptural Incense Holder Workshop

Turn an everyday object into a one-of-a-kind incense holder! In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll explore sculptural handbuilding techniques while creating your own imaginative incense holder.

We’ll guide you through building your piece from clay, with plenty of room to experiment with shape, texture, and personality. Take inspiration from everyday objects, animals, food, architecture, or anything else that sparks your imagination—the goal is to make something uniquely yours.

Your workshop includes clay, 2 hours of instruction, and both bisque and glaze firing. Students will also have access to underglazes during the workshop, so if time allows, you can paint and add color to your piece. If you’d like additional time to decorate, you’ll have the option to purchase studio time to come back and finish your piece.

No prior pottery experience is necessary—just bring your creativity!
