Coil Building with the Extruder
Curious about how to coil build quickly using extruded coils? The clay extruder can feel intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes an incredibly useful tool. In this hands-on class, we’ll demystify the extruder and explore its creative potential together.

You'll learn to build both large and small forms—from mugs and vases to ceramic chains. We'll also create woven ceramic pieces like coasters/platters/bowls, and explore how to use hollow extrusions to craft sculptural vases, wall hangings, and more. Whether you're new to the extruder or ready to take your skills further, this class will open up a whole new world of clay construction.

Included in the class:

• 2.5 hr. weekly classes over a 6-week period

• A free 12 lb bag of B Mix

• Tools and glazes

• Firing of your class pottery work

• 2 hours a day of access to the studio during open studio hours Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm
