  • Making and compressing the base with the pang-mang-i

  • Coiling (Taryeom-jil): building height through rhythmic, efficient movements

  • Paddling (Surae-jil) for shaping, thinning, and compressing the vessel

  • Final shaping (Geun-gae-jil) with metal ribs

  • Rim formation using the traditional shammy cloth (Jeon-tae)

  • Scribing lines and motifs with historical significance

  • Lifting the finished form using traditional cloth methods
