BEGINNER FRIENDLY!

During our 6-week course we learn handbuilding skills while creating two lamps - one hanging, pendant lamp and one table lamp. This class is for students of all levels, who want to learn and practice handbuilding techniques while making 2-3 functional lamps.  In addition to introducing beginner slab and coil techniques, we will discuss sketching and measuring, look at inspiration photos and advanced finishing techniques. 

Included in the class:

• 2.5 hr. weekly classes over a 6-week period

• 2 wires to complete your light fixtures

• A free bag of clay (13lb Bmix), Clay Upgrades Available

• Tools and glazes

• Firing of your pottery pieces

• Access to the studio during open studio hours, Saturday & Sunday from 12 pm - 5 pm (students can sign up for two hours each day)

• Masks are optional
